Watch Pokemon Sword/Shield latest championship battles over on Twitch

If you thought Pokémon Sword/Shield‘s story mode was a bit too easy, wait until you see professionals and hopefuls battle in 1v1s.
The official Oceania International Championships kicked off today — the second event in the Pokémon World Championships roster — and is currently livestreaming over on Twitch.
The tournament’s part of the road to the Pokémon World Championships‘ finals which takes place in London in August.
But even if you aren’t interested in the esport ramifications, the tournament’s great fun to watch, and does wonders for your own gameplay too.
The tournament runs from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 February. Finals take place on Sunday.
