Koodoo March PS5 stock arrives in South Africa
Orders for the March stock drop of PlayStation 5 (PS5) have opened at local distributor Koodoo.
The retailer announced shortly after noon on 16 March that orders for the latest wave of stock were now open.
This includes the standard PS5, the PS5 Digital Edition, as well as a PS5 Plus Bundle.
The PS5 Plus Bundle includes the PlayStation 5 console, a 90-day PSN subscription, an additional controller, and two PS5 games. The two games are Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition and Devil May Cry Special Edition.
The bundle retails for R14 999.
However, it’s unlikely that stock will last very long.
Globally, stock of the PS5 has been extremely limited.
Koodoo suggests that those trying to get their hands on the console download the retailer’s app.
Other retailers allow you to sign up for waitlists.
We have reached out to local distributor Gamefinity for more details on the PS5 stock situation in South Africa and tips for local consumers looking to buy the console.
