TCL QLED 4K C725 TV now available in South Africa: price and details
Following the company’s arrival in South Africa on 3 November, TCL Electronics has launched another smart TV product on the local market — the TCL C725 4K TV.
Available through Takealot, the 4K QLED TV became available to purchase during Black Friday week.
It’s the second product rollout from the company since its local entrance to the market, with its P725 4K and P615 TVs launched earlier in November.
While all of the manufacturer’s local products aim for a more affordable or mid-range market segment, the QLED technology of the C725 series offers a slightly more premium experience.
“The beauty of the QLED television is that quantum dot technology significantly increases the performance of the device while also pulling lower energy costs,” Muhammed-Izhaar Ebrahim, Sales Manager at TCL South Africa, said in a statement.
“The C725’s new HDR 10+ technology optimises picture quality for 4K display by using dynamic tone mapping to reflect frame to frame or scene to scene variations in brightness, colour saturation, and contrast.”
The TV comes in 55-inch and 65-inch versions.
It also supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, along with HDMI 2.1 and USB 3.0.
The C725 is also Google TV-enabled, which means you can use Google Assistant and voice commands. You can also connect it to other Google Home-enabled devices.
