Disney Plus now available on PlayStation 5 consoles
Start streaming now on PS5 as Disney has announced that Disney Plus will now be available on PlayStation 5.
A Disney Plus app is available on Sony PlayStation 5 and allows users to stream their favourite movies, including TV shows.
PlayStation 4 also had access to the Disney Plus app, running on the new model consoles.
This however affected resolution.

PlayStation 5 users can now download Disney Plus on their consoles, while streaming their preferred movies and Disney originals in quality fashion.
“A key part of our global expansion strategy is to meet consumers wherever they are, which is why we’re excited to enhance Disney+ for PlayStation 5 users,” a statement from the Disney team read.
Disney Plus remains a streaming service for home entertainment.
The service is home to a plethora of content from Pixar, Marvel to Star Wars and the National Geographic.
The streaming service also features documentaries, live action and animated series in short format.
Disney Plus made its way into the South African market in May 2022.
Launched in over 42 countries, subscribers have access to Star Wars’ The Mandalorian and the Book of Boba Fett including Marvel series.
Users have access to quality viewing, unlimited downloads on up to 10 devices.
Parents receive an easy to use child profile interface that is easy to navigate through for any child.
