Modeling agencies in trouble as AI strikes, here’s why

Flagship modeling agencies may just be in trouble as AI (Artificial Intelligence) finds ways to hire out models and use them in a virtual photoshoot without actually casting real life models.

Sounds unrealistic right?

Here’s what we picked up.

Deep agency is a virtual photo studio service with advanced AI technology for professional photoshoots without ever leaving the comforts of your home.

Users at a price can hire virtual models and create a virtual twin with an avatar.

This allows users to create or select a type of model that they wish to configure and have the AI pose as the user wishes.

This AI photo studio may just be a glimpse into the now future where things materialize at an incredible pace.

What you need.

Users upload photos according to the systems requirements.

Deep Agencies websites states: “We recommend 10 close-ups, 3 side profiles, 5 chest-up and 3 full body shots. Variety is key: facial expressions, locations, backgrounds and perspectives should all be different. Look away from the camera too. High quality photos work best; minimal makeup is advised as it may be exaggerated in the photos. No nudes, swimwear/underwear is OK.”

The catch is that data is stored and vetted by a third party somewhere in the United States.

While the service allows for several format uploads, JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC it does not support AVIF and GIF formats.

Purchases for the plan can be refunded within 14 days provided users have not trained the AI.

After 14 days or once the plan is used it is no longer eligible for a refund.

Images used can be used on any social media platform or website or even dating profile.
