Honor launches the AI packed Honor 90 5G, here’s what we know

AI comes to the fore

Marked to bring future technology to the fore the Honor 90 has finally been brought to South African shores.

Honor introduces the Honor 90 5G featuring a 200MP main camera with AI Vlog, which intelligently helps content creators create quick short 15-second version videos.

The AI Vlog feature is designed to act as an assistant using AI tech in videography.

Vloggers will have the ability to streamline their output using the Honor 90’s AI which creates video recommendations including an AI instant movie feature that enables users to generate a social media-ready video in a few taps.

The Honor 90 comes in with slightly above-board storage at 512GB with a 5000mAh battery.

Design

The theory is that the Honor  90 brings forward groundbreaking design, we disagree, but will concede in pointing to impressive hardware including software that’s intelligently packaged together considering the device’s price.

What’s inside?

There’s 512GB ROM storage capacity coupled with Honor RAM turbo which is intelligent technology that allocates part of the flash memory to RAM, which according to Honor means the 8GB RAM effectively increases to 19RAM to ensure a smoother less glitchy performance.

We know there’s a 5000mAh battery carrying performance.

What else is there?

The battery can charge to 45% with a 66W Honor SuperCharge in 15 minutes.

Camera’s 

There’s a triple camera system consisting of a 200MP main camera with a 1/1.4 inch sensor, a 12 MP ultra-wide, and macro camera with a 112-degree field of view.

The 2MP depth camera helps the camera take more accurate images as it assists with depth perception as it gauges distance.

A 50MP selfie camera is a plus for content creators, ideal for capturing the moment both on video and picture format.

Eye comfort to the front

The Honor 90 brings forward something for the eyes.  Using human-centric technology the Honor 90 5G is equipped with industry-leading eye comfort additions such as the TUV Rheinland Flicker Freee Certification under its belt, as well as the industry’s highest Pulse Width modulation dimming frequency of 3840Hz which minimizes strain on the eyes when set a low brightness.

It’s smart, its lightweight and we plan to detail more on what this new Honor 90 brings to South African shores.
