Ditch the controller: Xbox One is getting keyboard and mouse support
Microsoft has teamed up with Razer to provide wireless keyboard and mouse support for Xbox One for a select group of Insiders.
This means that soon you will be able to play supported games using a keyboard and mouse on the console.
While Microsoft says gaming developers can decide if they wish to make their games compatible for this control option, one game is already set to test the new feature through the Xbox Insider programme.
“Warframe will be one of the first titles testing mouse and keyboard input when the feature arrives to Insider in the coming weeks,” confirmed Microsoft in the announcement.
The company says it has partnered with Razer “to bring you the best possible mouse and keyboard experience for this new functionality”.
“We’ve been working closely with studios of all sizes to ensure mouse and keyboard experiences on console are fun, fair and correctly balanced,” it also noted.
Microsoft promises more details on 10 November 2018.
