Snapdragon 675 benchmarks hit Geekbench
Last month Qualcomm announced a new mid-range SoC that’s set to power phones in the upper mid-range segment.
Dubbed the Snapdragon 675, we knew that it would be based on an 11nm process, feature a octacore design with two ARM Cortex-A76 cores, and a slightly weaker Adreno GPU, but we didn’t know how it would perform.
A new Geekbench benchmark may have just given us some indication.
According to the scores, spotted by GSMArena — 2267 single core and 6103 multicore — it’s more powerful than the Snapdragon 710 and Snapdragon 670 which it’s set to replace.
The 710, when in the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, could only achieve single and multi scores of 1875 and 5586, respectively.
The 675 chipset also sports an X12 LTE modem, support for Qualcomm QuickCharge 4.0, and smarphones with triple cameras.
There’s no indication of the device used to conduct the benchmark, but the 675 is set to debut at the beginning of 2019.
