Canon’s latest wildlife camera will cost a cool $6499
Canon’s EOS-1D X Mark III has finally been revealed, the latest flagship camera for sports and wildlife photography.
First announced last October, the device features a new DIGIC X processor, autofocus system and 20.1MP sensor along with 4K full-frame RAW recording capabilities.
“It is the first non-cinema Canon camera to feature RAW recording, providing an expansive range of colours and tones which can be extracted in post-production for superior image quality,” Canon explained in a press release.
Additionally, the EOS-1D X Mark III also features five-axis stabilisation as well as WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
“With inbuilt GPS, professionals can capture location data to images — particularly useful for travelling sports photographers and exploring wildlife photographers,” Canon further revealed.
Though a local price is yet to be confirmed, the Canon EOS-1D X Mark III is currently available to pre-order for $6499.
Meanwhile, the company also launched its new Robotic Camera System for remote shooting too.
