James Bond, MI6 agents will use Nokia phones in ‘No Time to Die’
After HMD Global’s Juho Sarvikas teased a new Nokia announcement earlier this week, the company has now confirmed its partnership with the James Bond franchise.
The firm’s first 5G phone will appear in the latest Bond movie “No Time to Die” starring Daniel Craig and Lashana Lynch, who plays Agent Nomi.
“In the film, Agent Nomi utilises the range of capabilities of the new Nokia phones portfolio, including the first ever 5G Nokia smartphone which will be fully unveiled on 19 March,” said the company.
Other phones to appear in the flick include the Nokia 7.2, and Nokia 3310. The newer one, that is.
It’s not clear what Nokia’s first 5G flagship will feature, but rumours suggest the company’s ditching its bold five-camera layout seen on the Nokia 9 Pureview for a more convenient four-camera four-lens setup.
The movie’s only set to debut in November, but Nokia’s planning a launch later this month in London.
