Where to watch the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase
Xbox is gearing up to host the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase this weekend with announcements about the studio’s upcoming releases.
The 90-minute event was first announced on 26 May. It is notable for being Xbox’s first big presentation after acquiring Bethesda last year.
The event will provide insight on Xbox’s release schedule, new announcements, and releases on Xbox Game Pass. It is timed to coincide with the annual E3 gaming conference which runs from 12 to 15 June.
In September 2020, Microsoft made headlines when it purchased Bethesda’s parent company, ZeniMax Media, for $7.5 billion.
Bethesda’s game franchises include Fallout, Wolfenstein, Doom, and The Elder Scrolls.
The purchase left many gamers speculating if future Bethesda game releases would be exclusive to Xbox game consoles.
