iPhone 5 launching August 7? [rumour]
What the hell will tech sites yammer on about after the iPhone 5 is all said and done? iPhone 6 rumours more than likely. For now, the iPhone 5 is rumoured to launch on 7 August 2012, and we can thank the Galaxy S III for this.
Because the S III has done so well and because the S III is so freaking marvelous, Apple’s upping its game and cranking out the iPhone 5 in under a month. Hard to believe? We think so as well.
Rumour has it that the iPhone 5 has hit production stage, but the latest iDevice was scheduled for sometime in September. With Samsung smashing the smartphone market, Apple’s clearly wants to deliver the iPhone 5 to it’s eager fans ahead of schedule. This is all unconfirmed.
Here’s the deal though. iOS 6, the iPhone 5’s OS is still in beta, so how’s it gonna make it to the finish line with a buggy OS? Simply put, it’s not. The rumours are based off “a reliable industry source” which could be the security guard watching Tim Cook’s Ferrari. iPhone 5 is coming before the end of this year, that’s the only certainty we can count on.
