Team evasi0n’s iOS 6.x Jailbreak 95% ready to roll out
Today is the day. Today is the glorious day iOS owners have waited for ever since the release of the iPhone 5 all those long months ago. The evasi0n iOS 6.0 and 6.1 Jailbreak is 95% ready to go, so at the very latest, we may be looking at an early Tuesday morning or late Monday release.
The process will seemingly be a one-click ordeal, much like Absinthe was for the iPhone 4 and 4S. The process will apparently take “Five minutes of your time” and work on Linux, Mac OS X and Windows. Spoiled for choice, eh?
Team evasion has a few warnings though. It’s the usual stuff. Backup your device, disable any lock code on the iDevice, don’t run iTunes while the process is going and if the process stuffs-up at any point, the iDevice can be safely reset (hold down home and power button at the same time for a few seconds).
So that’s all for now. It’s a waiting game, and we’ll smash out a how-to article as soon as the Jailbreak is ready.
