Could these renderings show us what the new C63 AMG Coupe will look like?

Front

The new C-Class Coupe is still some way off worldwide introduction; however Dutchman Remco Meulendijk refuses to wait on ceremony and has already put his automotive illustration skillset to good work on what he thinks the new coupe will look like.

The AMG version is what we really care about and if the production version looks anywhere near his rendering, then we sure are in for a treat.

Drawing inspiration from the current AMG line-up, Remco’s illustration shows revised front and rear bumpers, side-skirts and of course the now mandatory squared off quad tailpipes. Big black wheels hide equally massive performance brakes, although I think the wheel arches could do with a little more flare.

We can only speculate on power outputs but rumour has it the new C63 AMG (and variants) will be powered by Mercedes’ new twin-turbo 4.0 litre V8 good for 375kW and 650Nm of rear tyre slaying torque.
Head over to Remco’s blog or follow him on Twitter @rmdesign1.
