The VÄTH A45 AMG may just be the most mental hot-hatch ever [Gallery]

Mercedes-Benz specialist tuner VÄTH has officially released details of its tuning program for the already mental Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG. The result…PHWOAR!

Power from the 2.0 litre turbo-charged four cylinder engine has been hiked to 312kW and the mentalist’s top speed has been raised to 280km/hour!

To supplement the power increase, customers not satisfied with their stock A45 receive a coilover suspension system and a 65mm drop in ride height, with the option ticking adjustable shock absorbers
as well. A new stainless steel exhaust system is said to produce a “sonorous, deep sound”…I’m not sure they’re talking about a 312kW AMG here.

Forged alloy rims in either 19 or 20 inch diameter complete the upgrade.
