Footage of the new Batmobile emerges, still no clues as to how it’ll sound
Thirty-two seconds of B-roll footage showing off the new Batmobile has emerged online and, by the look of things, Zack Snyder has managed to out-grit Christopher Nolan in at least one respect.
The latest incarnation of the iconic super hero vehicle will appear in the upcoming Batman vs Superman and, to our eyes at least, reflects an older more economical Batman.
If the Tumbler driven throughout Nolan’s iconic trilogy was designed to show off what a tech-savvy billionaire could do with a military grade vehicle, the new car suggests that “Master Wayne” is more concerned with lightness, heavy-duty suspension and the kind of ground clearance you’d more typically find on vehicles tackling the Dakar Rally.
The B-Roll also suggests that Batman isn’t as concerned with having the odd scratch on this Batmobile.
The front-mounted cannons also seem pretty exciting, but unless they’re tipped with kryptonite, it’s not entirely certain what use they’d be against Superman.
