Watch the Focus RS tear up a mountain road in new Ford ad

If you even have the vaguest whiff of petrol coursing through your blood, you’re probably very excited for the new Ford Focus RS.

And if you’re not, you probably will be after watching a new video made by Ford to show off its capabilities on mountain roads.

Filled with dramatic filters and pacy cuts, the video has a pretty epic soundtrack in the shape of the Focus RS’ engine: a pumped-up version of the EcoBoost Mustang’s turbo 2.3-liter four.

That engine, which should be capable of pushing out more than 350bhp, will likely place the Focus RS firmly at the top of the hot hatch pile.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to go wait in line for my review model.
