Facebook Pages get a facelift
Facebook Pages will soon get a major upgrade. On Friday morning, Facebook sent an email to Page administrators informing them about the new redesign. The admins will see a preview and tour of the new features, and will have until March to to upgrade, when all Pages will be automatically migrated to the redesign.
The new page layout will bear the same design as Facebook’s most recent profile redesign. Once Page admins have upgraded to the new format, a navigation menu will appear to the left of the page’s wall, and the tabs will disappear from the top of the page.
The new design allows page admins to browse Facebook as a page. This will allow Page admins to receive notifications when fans interact with their Page or posts, update photos along the top of the page, get news feed for their page and the ability to Like and post on other pages as your page.
The new design gives Facebook Pages a whole new personality.
