Facebook Studio launched: A platform for creatives
Facebook has recently launched a new community site called Facebook Studio – a platform for creative and innovative social media agencies and marketers to come together and share their ideas. The site not only serves as a showcase of the best marketing campaigns on Facebook, but allows the company to interact with agencies in a collaborative, creative learning space.
“On Facebook Studio you can get recognized for your creativity, be inspired by your peers, and browse a collection of work that represents some of the best marketing on Facebook. You’ll also find information and resources to help you strengthen your Facebook strategies.”

Gallery
The Gallery on Facebook Studio showcases the latest marketing campaigns and can be sorted by Most Liked, Most Shared and Most Recent. Submissions can also sorted by region and language and include videos and images of campaigns that can be liked and commented on.
Spotlight
This is a showcase of the best work on Facebook Studio, chosen by the amount of likes received and overall quality and innovation. Some excellent examples include Skittles Mob the Rainbow , HBO’s True Blood Live Feed and What Zurich Needs – a campaign from the Social Democratic Party of Switzerland .
Submissions that make it into the Spotlight category are eligible for the exclusive Facebook Studio Awards.
Awards

In acknowledging and rewarding innovative work using its platform, Facebook has grown up and taken notice of the creative individuals and agencies that bring in most of its advertising revenue by generating huge amounts of traffic to their Pages.

This will soon become THE place to be listed. Facebook’s own agency directory includes companies who submit their own original work to Facebook Studio.
Learning Lab
This is a great resource for social media campaign managers; Learning Lab provides video tutorials on how to use Facebook’s various marketing tools such as Facebook Pages, Sponsored Stories, Facebook Places and Deals.
The launch of Facebook Studio is part of a wider range of activities aimed at creating relationships between agencies and creatives and Facebook’s engineers. In May the first Facebook Studio Live event will take place in New York as part of the One Show Creative UnConference. The event will cover everything from using Facebook tools to building creative strategy as well as an introduction to hacking – the popular Hackathon.
