Okay, maybe Microsoft hasn’t got the cool thing taped just yet [Video]

Microsoft’s big tablet reveal went a long way to showing that the company was well on the way to regaining its cool. Mostly.

You see, there was one teeny tiny blip. While he was showing off the “smooth” browsing capabilities of the Surface it froze. Nothing helped, not even jabbing at the Windows button (to be fair, that’s exactly what we would have done.

At this point, you can imagine what was going through his head. Still, Sinofsky stuck with the script, and a new Surface was brought in from the wings.

Here’s the thing. The blip was there for everyone to see, but the hype around the Surface has largely been positive. Just goes to show how slick everything else was.

Anyway, Apple fans laugh away.
