New Fantastic Four trailer is dark, very dark
Of all the properties in the Marvel universe, the Fantastic Four is probably the one that’s had the hardest time getting into movie-goers into theaters. The latest reboot of the series aims to change that, starting with a much younger cast and a retooled origin story.
And if the most recent trailer for the film is anything to go by, then the changes may well have worked.

Reed Richards as young prodigy undoubtedly works better than as a greying middle-aged man. It also means we get to see him develop a relationship with Sue Storm rather than bicker in the hackneyed style of 1950s sitcom couples.
Perhaps the most promising thing though is that The Thing doesn’t look like an overly-large actor with bits of fake rock stuck on.
