Remix Mini Android-based PC launches in South Africa

The Remix Mini, a micro-computer built by Jide Technology and running Remix OS, is now available in South Africa.
Launching today (7 March), the device will be sold on Takealot for R599 for a limited period.
Jide Technology strives to “unlock the potential of Android in order to accelerate a new age of computing,” according to the company’s site. Its chief reflection of this philosophy is Remix OS, which is Android reimagined for the desktop. The OS sports keyboard shortcut support, Windows-like windows management tools and an Android Marshmallow-inspired flat, clean design.
