You can now schedule Instagram posts (but not from the app)

You can now schedule posts to automatically publish on Instagram, even when you’re asleep or far, far away from your device.
But there’s a tiny catch.
Instead of switching on the feature for its more than 700-million users, the Facebook-owned social network will only make the feature available through its “Partner” services, like Hootsuite.
These services are paid-for platforms used by social media managers and serious social engineers, that support Instagram’s Graph API.
Basically, businesses.
Along with scheduled posts, businesses using Insta can now also “view posts they’ve been tagged in and view other business profiles,” the company explained in a blog post.
So, no. The feature is not available on the Instagram apps or the web interface.
There’s also no telling when, or if, the company will bolt on such a feature to them either.
