Brooklyn Nine-Nine is cancelled, and I don’t feel so good

brooklyn nine-nine cancelled fox

This is proof that everything you’ll ever love will die, at least when it’s in the hands of Fox. The company on Thursday cancelled hit cop comedy show Brooklyn Nine-Nine, after just five seasons.

Not noice. Not smort. In fact, most of the internet is pretty upset too.

Fans of the show took to Twitter lamenting the decision, and celebrating the show’s values.

This before cast members Joe Lo Truglio and Stephanie Beatriz made us all weep.

If you aren’t crying, you’re crying now.

There’s still hope though.

Companies like Netflix, Disney and Hulu exist and have often expressed interest in picking up old shows and reviving them. Need I mention Queer Eye?

Even so, it’s another sad day for comedy shows, especially since The Big Bang Theory has (somehow) been renewed for its 12th season.

The final episode of the Nine-Nine will air in the US on 20 May.
