Good news, everyone. You can now find your art doppelganger online thanks to Google’s Arts & Culture app’s latest update.

The update activates the Art Selfie feature globally, which allows users to find their art lookalike from Google’s wealth of cached historical and contemporary artwork.

Art Selfie first launched in January in the US, and for a moment became one of the internet’s strangest memes… largely because it wasn’t very good.

Google thought some users’ dogs we’re similar to paintings of men, while one user in particular was likened to a caricature of Mark Wahlberg.

Seriously bro, ouch.

Beyond the Art Selfie feature though, Google Arts & Culture is an excellent resource for lovers of creativity.

“With Google Arts & Culture you can visit top exhibits, zoom in on artworks in mind-blowing detail and browse thousands of stories, photos, videos, and manuscripts. Be your own curator by finding your favorites, creating your own collections and sharing them with friends,” Google writes in the app’s description.

“Travel anywhere with tours of iconic sites, famous buildings and natural wonders, on your screen or in VR. Learn something new everyday,” it adds.

Content from over 1200 institutions across 70 countries can be found on the platform.

The app itself weighs in at around 14MB, and is only available for Android 5.0 Lollipop users and above. Arts & Culture is also available for iOS users too.

And if you’re not into downloading apps, or don’t really care for the Art Selfie feature, visit the web portal here.
