Google has revealed two new updates for its online business tools, Test My Site and RCS Business Messaging.
“Because mobile is where most people turn when they want to know, go, do or buy, it’s important to deliver the kind of mobile experience that people expect today, ” said the company on its blog.
Test My Site is a tool that helps a business determine its mobile site’s performance and speed.
“With the new Test My Site, businesses have a single destination to measure, benchmark and take action on mobile site speed,” Google noted.
The new features will allow businesses to view the speed of individual pages, make monthly speed comparisons and even recommend solutions for under performing sites.
Test My Site will also compare your pages to industry performance.
The RCS, or Rich Communication Services, tool with also receive upgrades in the form of modernisation.
“RCS upgrades SMS with branding, business verification, rich media, suggested replies and actions, and analytics,” Google explains.
The tool allows businesses to communicate more efficiently with customers about products and services.
“Google is partnering with the mobile industry to modernize mobile messaging and deliver better consumer experiences with RCS.”
The updates are currently rolling out.
