Snapchat’s new Android app will launch later this year
If you didn’t know, Snapchat for Android is getting that long-awaited rebuild and now we know when to expect it.
In a report by CNBC, Snapchat’s CEO Evan Spiegel revealed that the reformed social media platform will launch as 2019 dies.
“Android is critical to our strategy,” Spiegel reportedly said, but for years now, the Android version of Snapchat has been a frustrating experience compared to the quality that iOS users have enjoyed.
This has limited Snapchat’s popularity, as many people in the developing world use Android devices.
Perhaps the new app, however, will make Snapping a thing in the rest of the world again.
