Kylie Jenner crowned the world’s youngest ‘self-made’ billionaire
Forbes has officially awarded 21-year-old Kylie Jenner the title of world’s youngest self-made billionaire, but the internet is still not having it.
In an article breaking down the social-media star’s make up brand, Kylie Cosmetics, Forbes outlines how and why Jenner has risen to claim the title.
According to the report, Kylie’s brand is now worth $900-million, growing rapidly since its launch in 2016.
“She owns all of it. Add in the cash Jenner has already pulled from the profitable business, and the 21-year-old is now a billionaire, with an estimated fortune of $1 billion,” Forbes explained.
The internet however, more specifically Twitter, does not feel that Jenner deserves to be associated with the term “self-made”, on account of her rich and famous upbringing.
And if anyone was starting to doubt what self-made actually means, Dictionary.com confirmed what we already knew.
Whether or not you feel offended by the blatant misuse of language, there is one thing that can’t be denied.
