Google adds new Detective Pikachu Playmoji pack for Playground

To celebrate the upcoming Detective Pikachu movie Google revealed a new Pokemon themed Playmoji pack on Friday.

“Now you can partner up with Detective Pikachu, Charizard, Jigglypuff and Mr. Mime to create action-packed scenes in the real world,” the company said on its blog.

The new pack is available in Playground on Pixel phones, a creative camera mode that allows users to place animated characters in photos, videos and selfies. It is also available on certain LG and Motorola devices, according to Google.

The company further noted that the Pokemon Playmojis are based on the Detective Pikachu versions of the characters.

The movie will premiere next Friday.
