T-Series becomes the first YouTube channel to hit 100m subscribers
T-Series is the first YouTube channel to crack 100-million subscribers. The milestone was hit on Wednesday, with congratulations from YouTube itself coming a day later.

The world’s video giant also told the Bollywood channel to “make some space on your shelf for something new and shiny…” suggesting a new trophy is heading it way.
T-Series has been embroiled in a long-standing battle with PewDiePie for the honour. The battle has also since extended beyond YouTube, becoming an internet-wide meme.
The Swedish YouTuber currently has 96.2-million subscribers.
