Mozilla gives Firefox a new ‘parent’ logo to encompass all its services
Mozilla on Tuesday revealed a new look for Firefox that aims to encompass all the elements of its growing brand.
“Today we’re introducing the Firefox parent brand — an icon representing the entire family of products,” the company explained on its blog.
This means that the new blue, purple, orange, yellow and pink gradient flame logo serves to represent all the different parts of Firefox, including its browser and web security platforms.
Under this parent logo, the company’s Lockwise, Monitor, Send and Browser also feature new looks.
The new Firefox Browser logo still includes the traditional fox in its swirl of new colours.
“We worked across internal brand, marketing, and product teams to reach a consistent brand system for our users,” Mozilla noted.
The tweak comes after news that the firm is readying a subscription-based premium version of Firefox for launch in October.
