Google on Wednesday revealed new improvements coming to Android 10 (Go Edition), the company’s operating system for entry-level smartphones.
According to the company, Android 10 (Go Edition) will launch apps 10% faster than its predecessor in a more ” memory-efficient” way.
Android 10 (Go Edition) will also feature Adiantum, a form of encryption designed to secure data on entry-level phones.
“Adiantum is built to run efficiently without specialized hardware, meaning all Go edition users will have the same level of data security as any Android device, without compromising performance,” Google explained on its blog.
Android 10 (Go Edition) will launch with new entry-level smartphones later this year.
