Google’s Android 10 (Go Edition) will be 10% faster and more ‘memory efficient’
Google on Wednesday revealed new improvements coming to Android 10 (Go Edition), the company’s operating system for entry-level smartphones.
According to the company, Android 10 (Go Edition) will launch apps 10% faster than its predecessor in a more ” memory-efficient” way.
Android 10 (Go Edition) will also feature Adiantum, a form of encryption designed to secure data on entry-level phones.
“Adiantum is built to run efficiently without specialized hardware, meaning all Go edition users will have the same level of data security as any Android device, without compromising performance,” Google explained on its blog.
The company first launched Android (Go Edition) last year and has since released a number of lightweight Go apps, including Google Go and Gallery Go.
Android 10 (Go Edition) will launch with new entry-level smartphones later this year.
