Facebook is rolling out new Shortcut Bar settings on mobile
Facebook users can now customise their shortcut tabs on the mobile app thanks to the company’s new Shortcut Bar settings.
According to a report by TechCrunch, the new settings allow users to change what shortcuts they see on the Facebook app’s navigation bar.
“We are rolling out navigation bar controls to make it easier for people to connect with the things they like and control the notifications they get within the Facebook app,” Facebook told the publication.
Users can remove tabs like “Marketplace” and “Dating” from their screens, as well as turn of the red notification dots that often clutter the platform.
The new settings are rolling out on both Android and iOS versions of the Facebook mobile app.
Facebook, meanwhile, is currently testing an additional tab called Facebook News on the platform.
