In an attempt to simplify mobile productivity, Microsoft on Monday revealed its new all-in-one Office app for both Android and iOS.

Featuring “new capabilities that harness the unique strengths of mobile devices”, the app combines PowerPoint, Excel and Word into a single app for a “more powerful Office experience”.

In fact, the app allows users to turn pictures of tables or text into Excel and Word documents and can also create a PowerPoint directly from a user’s camera roll.

“Create automatically enhanced digital images of whiteboards and documents with Office Lens features integrated into the app,” Microsoft revealed in a YouTube video showing off the new app.

Users can scan QR codes, sign documents and share files through the Office mobile app too.

The free Microsoft Office app is currently available for users to download in Public Preview for iOS and Android.

Additionally, the company is also launching an updated Microsoft Edge icon as well.
