New Nandos ‘Mzansipoli’ ad leaves South Africa in stitches

Nandos has left South Africa in stitches with the release of its new “Mzansipoli” advertisement, a hilarious Monopoly-like board game depicting the country’s many social injustices.

“Beat the game that has been playing you,” the company tweeted on Tuesday morning.

South Africans loved Nandos’ daring creativity and, with features like “token Asian”, “black Twitter”, “white privilege” and the “race card”, the ad began trending on Twitter.

Some even expressed their desire to buy “Mzansipoli” for a chance to play.

While others simply loved the ad’s finer moments.

Meanwhile, everyone else is patiently waiting for some backlash.
