Clicks ClubCard members can now earn points for filling up at Engen

Engen and Clicks are partnering to bring new rewards opportunities to Clicks ClubCard members.

Clicks ClubCard users will now be able to earn loyalty points every time they fill up at Engen petrol stations.

According to the companies, each litre of petrol you buy will earn you one ClubCard point that will later earn you cashback rewards at Clicks stores.

“To sweeten the deal, for the first two months of the partnership — during December 2019 and January 2020 — Clicks ClubCard members can earn double points every day when they fill up with Engen Primax Unleaded or Engen Dynamic Diesel 50ppm at participating Engen service stations,” Engen said in a press release.

Clicks and Engen also believe that the new partnership is a “winning formula” for consumers.

“As Engen continues to have South Africa’s largest service station footprint, it makes sense for us to partner with Clicks ClubCard, which is South Africa’s number one retail loyalty programme,” said Seelan Naidoo, Engen’s general manager.

The news comes after Clicks recently ended its loyalty programme partnership with Shell.

Other South African fuel companies have also announced partnership with retailers in recent months, most notably BP and Pick ‘n Pay.
