Now you can share images in private chats on Google Photos
Google on Tuesday revealed a new chat feature in Google Photos that will allow users to share and comment on photos privately.
This means that you can now share individual photos with people on the platform and chat with them as well.
“This gives you one place to find the moments you’ve shared with your friends and family and keep the conversation going,” Google explained on its website.
According to the company, users can also like, save and share photos from the conversation too.
Though the new feature resembles many social media apps, Google further claimed that it does not intend to “replace the chat apps you already use”.
In November, however, the company also added new social features to Maps, including the ability to update your user profile and follow local guides.
The new chat feature in Google Photos is currently being rolled out on Android, iOS and the web.
