Twitter thinks Calvin Harris’ new song is about Taylor Swift
“My Way” might be pretty famous song lyric for a certain New Yorker, but Scottish recording artist Calvin Harris has today used these two words to stir up some controversy on social media.
Debuting his latest track on YouTube, “My Way” boasts some summer house beats with lyrics sung by Harris himself… and lyrics that the internet believes cites his feud with former partner Taylor Swift.
Harris and Swift haven’t exactly seen eye to eye recently, especially since the duo’s July 2016 Twitter war surrounding Harris’ other 2016 hit, “This is What You Came For”. The track, which featured Rihanna, was co-written by Swift under a pseudonym.
Calvin Harris’ new track boasts some contentious lyrics that has social media a-twitter
Thanks to these coincidental factors, some Twitter users are pretty sure that Harris is referencing Swift as “two-faced” and “the one thing in [his] way” in the track.

Twitter also took some time to poke fun at Harris’ uninspired and simple lyrical structure.
Wow! The lyrics in My Way by Calvin Harris are sooo creative & deep. AND he wrote it by himself (such wow)! #MyWay pic.twitter.com/rENJ55xJdD

Others also noted that if “My Way” is indeed a break up song aimed at Swift, Harris should probably run away. Right now.
is ‘my way’ the best calvin could come up with as a break up song for taylor ?? does he know who he’s playing against
