Apple Watch Walkie Talkie app disabled due to eavesdropping vulnerability
Apple has disabled the Walkie Talkie app on Apple Watch after it was “made aware of a vulnerability” that may allow users to eavesdrop on another’s iPhone, TechCrunch reported on Thursday.
“We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience and will restore the functionality as soon as possible,” Apple told the publication.
The app allows Apple Watch users to send and receive audio messages between devices.
According to Apple, there is no evidence that the vulnerability was exploited.
