Gmail is rolling out dark mode support to Android and iOS
Google on Tuesday announced the rollout of Gmail’s dark mode to both Android and iOS devices.
The company teased the new theme in a tweet, showing off black and grey tones on the traditionally white and red app.

Users can enable dark mode via Gmail settings, or through their system settings on Android 10 and iOS 13.
“On Pixel, when Battery Saver is enabled, Gmail will default to Dark theme automatically,” Google also noted.
The new feature adds to a number of Gmail updates the company made this year, including auto-correct, “dynamic email” and improved Smart Compose.
Dark mode will appear on Android 10 devices, and iOS 11 upwards, over the next few days.
