Good News! Google’s Project Glass will fit over your prescription specs

Hey, did you notice anything missing in all the pictures of the models Google used to announce that Project Glass was going to be a reality? No it wasn’t “any semblance of self-respect”. Geez. It was prescription glasses.

That’s a little odd, especially given that around 75% of adults in the US are thought use visual assistance of some kind.

Google apparently noticed and has issued a spec detailing how your Project Glass specs will eventually fit comfortably over your new ones.

The internet giant’s Isabelle Olson released a teaser of the concept being worked on when it comes to prescription frames.

She said that a number of people had asked how the new project would work with prescription lenses.

“We ideally want Project Glass to work for everyone”, she added, explaining that Google was “experimenting with designs that are meant to be extendable to different types of frames”.

No word yet on how Google plans to attach the device to sunglasses without making you look like you’re in a cheap sci-fi movie.
