The screenshot shows that the iPad mini will be released in eight variants, none of which would feature the rumored coloured back-panels, a feature we were looking forward to seeing. The devices range from an entry-level 8GB version to a top of the range 64GB version. Another significant difference is the inclusion of both a Wi-Fi and cellular enabled version of the device.

This can be interpreted in two ways, if priced in US Dollars, device-costs would be on par with earlier projections. However, if priced in Euros, the devices could be exorbitantly overpriced. With consumers having to pay up to US$322 for the “iPad Mini Wi-Fi 8GB Schwarz(Black)” entry-level model according to calculations.
It would seem inconceivable for consumers to want to pay that much for a miniature version of the iPad. All we can do is hope that this spec sheet is not finalised, as potential consumers would have to sell a kidney to get their hands on Apple’s latest tablet.
