BlackBerry 10 UI screenshots, a preview of what’s to come

The Vietnamese are at it again, this time round with screenshots of the new BlackBerry 10 UI. The site initially released some beautiful shots of the BlackBerry 10 L-Series smartphone, which was then followed up by a hands-on video comparison against the Dev Alpha B handset.

As far as we can tell this is only a Beta version, but there should be little change between this version and the one that will make its way to the public after RIM’s BB10 event on 30 January 2013.

Apart from the Vietnamese author’s personal details (which doesn’t seem like a wise move on his part), the screenshots also show off a couple of welcoming features. The first thing that we were interested to see was the device manager, a staple among other manufacturers, it now seems that RIM have joined the party. Other notable inclusions include a Facebook app that bears a striking resemblance to the iOS version as well as a Siri-like voice app.

As anticipation builds for BlackBerry 10, it appears RIM has already placed a heavy emphasis on its corporate clients. It has begun rolling out handsets to the big business sectors prior to launch, with the hope of creating and maintaining their interest.

It goes without saying that RIM has always viewed popularity within the corporate sector as being a key part of its uptake philosophy. We just hope that with BB10, the everyday person’s experience will not be left in the lurch.
