LG G4 coming 28 April, company confirms

LG has formally announced that its next flagship device, the LG G4, will debut on 28 April.

Save The Dates have been sent out by the Korean company, asking journalists to “See the Great, Feel the Great,” which of course, places emphasis on the “G”. The device will be an upgrade of the rather brilliant LG G3.

The LG G4 has been a long time coming, with LG launching its Q1 flagship, the LG G Flex 2 nearly two months ago at CES 2015.

Specifications of the device are not as concrete as the launch date, but we can speculate a bit.

There’s talk of a 5.5-inch screen, a hexa-core CPU courtesy of Qualcomm, we could very well see 32GB of internal storage and a healthy 3GB of RAM if more.

There’s also a big chance that we could see the self-healing backplate debuted on the LG G Flex 2 feature on the LG G4 as well.

To get a complete picture though, we’ll have to wait a little over four weeks until the big reveal taking place on (almost) every continent.
