BlackBerry Motion leaked, set to be all-touch, water-resistant
TCL has done a decent job with the BlackBerry brand thus far, launching the capable (yet pricey) KeyOne earlier this year. But the company still has one more device up its sleeve, and it could be another solid smartphone.
Serial leaker Evan Blass has revealed a render of what’s called the BlackBerry Motion, showing an all-touch phone with mostly stock Android.

The render also shows off a USB Type C port, earphone jack and a home button with BlackBerry logo (could it be a fingerprint scanner too?).
But we also see a power key and what could be a “convenience” key right next to it. TCL/BlackBerry have implemented “convenience” keys in recent phones, allowing users to assign apps/functions to this button.
The phone could be water-resistant too, according to a report by Engadget earlier this year.
The publication spoke to a TCL representative at IFA 2017, who informed them that the next BlackBerry-branded device would be all-touch and pack IP67 water and dust resistance. The executive added that they were targeting 26 hours of “mixed use”.
