LG South Africa’s flagship smartphones will receive Android Pie from July
After users in the States and Europe saw their LG G7 smartphones update to Android Pie this week, we now have word when you can expect the same in South Africa.
According to LG South Africa, the LG G7 will receive the Android Pie update in August.
Other flagship models will also receive the update this year.
- Expect the LG V40 to receive Android Pie in July.
- The LG V30 will receive Android Pie in August.
- The LG G6, LG’s 2017 flagship, will receive Android Pie in September.
The update itself, judging by Redditor’s comments, doesn’t seem to add much to the G7’s software experience. Navigation gestures are now available, while adaptive battery and dual apps are also now available.
