Canon’s clippable IVY REC is now available for pre-order

Canon’s crowdfunded clippable IVY REC camera is officially available for pre-order on Indiegogo, the company announced on Thursday.

“Wear it on your belt or bag, and take it anywhere,” Canon explained.

Last week, the Indiegogo crowdfunding page surfaced with what seemed to be a USB-sized portable camera, this week we know it’s a little bit bigger than that.

The 13MP device is actually 110.5 x 45.2mm and features a clip that also functions as a view finder. IVY REC also comes in Riptide, Avocado and Dragonfruit colour variants.

Currently, the IVY REC is in its prototype phase and is available to pre-order at a discounted price of R1672.

According to the page, IVY REC standard price tag comes in at R1811.
