The Apple iPhone 11 launch event is set for 10 September 2019
Apple’s September event date is now confirmed, thanks to press invites that were sent out to media on Thursday.
On 10 September, Apple will likely launch its new iPhones (and hopefully some other hardware too) at its Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino, California.
Last year’s event took place on 12 September 2018, and featured the debut of Apple’s iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.
There’s no special title, but the Apple logo is a rather odd translucent five-colour affair that may, oddly enough, hint at the iPhone XR replacement’s slew of new colours,. Dubbed the iPhone 11, the device will likely also sport an LCD screen and dual rear cameras.
Apple’s other two devices in the new iPhone series, will reportedly be called the iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max, replacing the XS and XS Max respectively.
Theese devices will sport three cameras, and OLED displays.
New iPad Pros, a new iPad Mini, and new MacBooks could also make an appearance next month.
What isn’t is that the event will kick off at 10am PT (or 7pm SAST for us South Africans).
