Departing from the usual design of other smartwatches from the company, the device features a rectangular display and bright colour options for its straps.

Huawei Watch Fit design augments new features
The new design on the Huawei Watch Fit will appeal to users who want their device to stand out.
Rather than blending in with a traditional watch design, the Watch Fit clearly stands out as a smartwatch with its rectangular 1.64-inch display.
But the new design isn’t only about aesthetics and leaning into smartwatch design — it helps augment the features.
The rectangular display (with a 70% screen-to-body ratio) is easy to navigate, maintaining a minimal profile on your wrist. This makes switching between menus and features more seamless than some circular displays.
The strap not only provides more colourful options, but a breathable design that makes wearing the device more comfortable. This reduces the clammy feeling or skin irritation you might get with less breathable straps.
However, the design’s functionality is most noticeable when it comes to the animated exercises.
The display leaves room for clear demonstrations of different exercises and stretches.

Animated personal trainer brings extra focus to fitness
The animated personal trainer on the Huawei Watch Fit can demonstrate up to 44 different exercises.
These exercises are most notable during your hourly movement reminder. Selecting “Get Active” will launch a re-energize sequence with useful stretches and exercises to get your body moving.
Outside of these reminders, you can access specific classes under the Workout menu. Go to “Fitness courses” and you will be able to choose from a variety of animated workout sequences, such as “Neck and shoulder relaxation”, “Full body stretch”, “Ab toning”, and more.
Modern lifestyles have brought increasing attention to the importance of general movement in maintaining your health and wellbeing. A sporadic workout won’t undo the fatigue and repetitive strain that working at a desk for eight hours daily does to your body.
That’s why the fitness trainer and its varied exercises, that include stretches and gentler exercises, is great for improving the physical health of users throughout their day.

This includes workout tracking, constant heart rate and steps monitoring, and communication notifications from messaging apps and email.
Enabling the always-on display will cut this battery life down significantly, but the watch still delivers longer battery life than many of its competitors.
