‘Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2’ delayed as developers replaced
For those looking forward to the released of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, bad news arrived as the publishers confirmed that the game will not launch in 2021 as previously planned.
Publisher Paradox Interactive shared the news in a development updated on 23 February.
The company also announced Hardsuit Labs would no longer be leading the development of the game. Rather, Paradox decided to remove the studio from the project.
A new development studio has not been announced. But the company has confirmed that it has partnered with another developer in its year-end report.
“…We have started a collaboration with a new studio partner to finish work on the game. This has been a difficult decision, but we are convinced that it is the right way forward to do the game justice,” the company said in its report.
In the development update, Paradox thanked Hardsuit Labs for its work.
“We’d like to take this opportunity to honor Hardsuit Labs for their efforts and thank them for their hard work on the project. The studio has done a tremendous job in laying the foundations for the game and we hope that you, the community, will also appreciate their contribution to Bloodlines 2,” it said.
When will Bloodlines 2 launch?
As a result of the significant delay and change in developers, a new date has not been set.
However, Paradox has confirmed that the game will not launch in 2021.
Due to the lack of a new release date, Paradox says it has also stopped accepting pre-orders for the game.
